Get ready to book this class! Coming soon pending purchasing of materials! This silver (or gold*) ring making class is perfect for beginners. Come with friends or by yourself to test the waters in ring making and feel like a blacksmith from the old days. You'll go from a boring strip of ugly metal, to a beautiful and unique ring made completely by you! What's included? All of the materials you need to shape and join the ring; - mandrels, hammers, files, saws, anvils, and probably more things I can't think of right now. A sterling silver* ring strip - your choice of thickness! Alphabet stamps and number stamps to make special messages or silly phrases. A teacher that will show you the ropes and try to facilitate any designs you can think of. Tea and coffee for a yummy treat while you work. *Prefer gold? Well it's expensive so we can offer you brass. Not waterproof but as cheap as silver and ~looks~ like gold! Almost as good...right? One day we will offer gold, but right now we simply can't afford it. Sorry! What to bring? Literally just yourself - rock up and enjoy the class. Other important info: No BYO alcohol for this class I'm afraid. We use blow torches and chemicals, and adding alcohol into that mix is a recipe for disaster! Also there are no gemstones in this class, the decoration is stamps, texture, filing and size. 16+ and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult (because of the torches and chemicals).
